We are thrilled to introduce Chalet les Tissourds to you, it is a wonderful Maison de Pays, beautifully restored and refurbished in 2009. As self-catered chalets go this is definitely in a class of its own. It extends over 4 floors, with a cosy fireplace on the ground floor where you can relax after a day on the slopes. For the film buffs amongst you there is also a cinema room.
Built originally in 1924 this lovely chalet is brilliantly located close to the Aiguille de Midi cable car and 5 - 10 minutes stroll to the centre of Chamonix. Just around the corner is l'Impossible restaurant, a fabulous place to eat. Situated in a quiet road it has plenty of space around it and hence wonderful views up to Mont Blanc, the Glacier des Bossons and across to Brévent on the other side of the valley.
A modern design within a traditional setting, the chalet is a delicious mixture of old and new. The interior is impressive, with the hand-made Ben Whistler furniture complementing the innovative design and open-plan layout - Contemporary Chamonix Chic.
There are 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 3 bathrooms across the upper two floors, whilst on the ground floor are an open-plan kitchen and dining room. Patio doors open onto a large garden. The lower ground floor has been converted into a TV room/snug. |
