Chalet Henrietta is a dream of a chalet, built in beautiful mellowed timbers it gently nestles into the hillside below Le Brévent. It is full of light as the seriously large windows, balcony, terrace and garden welcome the mountain sunshine from dawn until dusk. Sip a drink on the terrace or in the hot tub as the sun sets behind Mont Blanc and turns the mountains rose.
It was constructed by a Chamoniard carpenter and builder who designed and positioned it with precisely these goals in mind - to capture both the sunlight and the breathtaking mountain views. Built in a solid and traditional style it will keep you warm and cosy in the winter months, and in the summer you can open the big glass sliding doors to welcome the fresh mountain air.
With 3 levels and 5 main bedrooms the chalet is wonderfully spacious, perfect for a large group or family. On the lower ground floor there are two double/twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, these rooms have windows or doors leading to the garden. On the ground floor there is a bedroom, with en-suite bathroom, that has sliding windows onto the terrace. The first floor has 2 double/twin bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus an additional single room in case needed, with a shower and loo. There is also a separate loo on the half-landing just below.
On the ground floor, as well as the bedroom there is a study/playroom. Then a large open plan area includes a pretty kitchen and a dining area, with the large sliding windows opening onto the south facing balcony. From here you have magical views across the valley, from central Chamonix to the Aiguille range and Les Planards, and in winter you will be able to see the skiing on the nursery slopes of Le Savoy close by. Even better, you can ski from the chalet to the Le Savoy drag lift and from there access the lifts to the Brévent ski area and across to Flegère. Ski-in/ski-out is quite a big deal in Chamonix so this really is the cherry on the cake. On the other side of the room is the solid stone fireplace and comfortable seating area with yet more large glass doors to the terrace and views of Mont Blanc. Pretty amazing really!
The price is for the chalet for 7 nights. It includes chalet rental, linen, towels, electricity, heating, standard final clean, representative service, use of hot tub, welcome food supplies and kitchen essentials.
This chalet may be reserved with the services of a chef and housekeeper. We would be very happy to arrange these for you. Please note that due to our licensing and insurance arrangements only our trained staff may work at the chalet.
