Chamonix by Train

You can take the Eurostar train all the way from London, Ebbsfleet (Dartford) and Lille to Geneva, which is just over an hour's transfer from Chamonix.  From the UK, the journey takes about 6 hours and runs on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Saturdays.  Book here with Eurostar from 15 October 2015.  STOP PRESS 15 Oct - we've just heard that it was announced yesterday that this service is withdrawn as the French are no longer running the Lyria service Lille to Geneva.

The nearest airport to Chamonix is Geneva, only an hour's drive away. You can book your flights (Swiss or BA) from the UK with us or book online with other airlines and from other parts of the world. In fact you can book direct with Swiss by clicking on the link to the right of this text.  We can arrange transfers for you between Chamonix and Geneva, or you can organise you own, there are some useful websites on our links page. Alternatively you may choose to hire a car from the airport.
All package holidays including a flight are protected through our ATOL licence 4799.

Driving to Chamonix is relatively easy.  If coming from the UK the drive from Calais is about 8 hours, mostly on autoroutes and then a dual-carriageway into Chamonix.   In the resort there is plenty of parking at all of our properties and the ski stations. For self-drive guests coming from the UK we can arrange channel crossings by ferry or Eurotunnel.

Local Chamonix Buses and Train

There is a good local bus service around the town and to the various ski areas, and also the sweet little train that runs up and down the Chamonix Valley between St Gervais-Le Fayet and Martigny in Switzerland.
