Mazot Mer de Glace

This delightful mazot is perfect for a couple or small family.  In the sleepy hamlet of Les Tines it is ideally situated for skiing, less than a stone's throw from the SNCF train station and bus stop (travel is free in the valley) which are just across the road.  The Flegère lift is 5 minutes away by car one way, or to Les Grands Montets in the opposite direction. There is parking at the mazot.

The mazot is beautifully decorated and has a cosy feel to it with its warm wood timbers.  There is a neat, fully equipped kitchen and lovely living area with a table and sofa.  There is a small bedroom in an alcove off the living area (with a curtain across the doorway), which is ideal for one guest.  Up a step ladder, on the mezzanine, a comfortable double bed provides a real cocoon!  There is a smart shower room with WC.

In the summer months there are some lovely mountain walks from your doorstep, this is a very pretty part of the valley.  A large garden with a hammock is perfect for lazy summer afternoons, and provides breath-taking mountain views of Les Drus and the Brevent.  In the winter a wood burning stove will keep you warm and cosy.
