Train, Plane or Car

Travel by Train, the sustainable way to reach Chamonix!

You can take the Eurostar train from London St Pancras, Ebbsfleet (Dartford) to Paris Gare du Nord.  You then take the train to Chamonix from Paris Gare de Lyon.  Book here with Eurostar.  We are hoping Eurostar will reopen the route London to Chamonix via Lille!  Trainline is also a useful website for planning your route and booking.

Plane

The nearest airport to Chamonix is Geneva, only an hour's drive away.  Click on the Swiss link to book directly with them, and you will find other arlines online.  We can arrange transfers for you between Chamonix and Geneva, or you can organise you own minibus or bus, there are some useful websites on our links page. Alternatively you may choose to hire a car from the airport.

Car

Driving to Chamonix is relatively easy.  If coming from the UK the drive from Calais is about 8 hours, mostly on autoroutes and then a dual-carriageway into Chamonix.   In the resort there is plenty of parking at all of our properties and the ski stations.

Local Chamonix Buses and Train

There is a good local bus service around the town and to the various ski areas, and also the sweet little train that runs up and down the Chamonix Valley between St Gervais-Le Fayet and Martigny in Switzerland.
